The project consists of the construction of a 14′ wide concrete multi-use along John Young Pkwy, Central Florida Pkwy and Taft Vineland for a total distance of 2.844 miles. The project includes the construction of a concrete pedestrian bridge.

Atlantic Civil Constructors Corp was awarded this FDOT project. The project included over 20,000 SY of concrete pavement and 5,000 tons of asphalt pavement . This project was completed several months ahead of schedule and under budget.

FDOT awarded the referenced project to Atlantic Civil Constructors Corp. This project had a construction schedule of 150 days. Despite several utility conflicts and other unforeseen conditions, Atlantic Civil Constructors Corp completed the project ahead of schedule.

SR 44 Roundabout at Grand Ave

Estimated Construction Cost – $1,917,469.31

This project was awarded to Atlantic Civil Constructors Corp by the Florida Department of Transportation in response to a deadly crash that happened at the intersection of SR 44 & Grand Ave in 2016. This project was a top priority for Volusia County as well as the Florida Department of Transportation and received support from Governor Scott in expediting its completion. The Department, Volusia County, and Design Build Team worked seamlessly to ensure the project maintained the 250-day NO EXCUSE schedule. The project included a comprehensive Public Awareness Program to 1) keep the public informed of the progress and 2) educate the public regarding how the new roundabout will function once completed. This project exemplifies the true spirit of teamwork.

ChampionsGate Diverging Diamond Interchange
County Road 532 & State Road 400 (I-4) Improvements

Project Number – T5715

The project consisted of the reconstruction of the existing interchange at CR 532 and I-4 into Central Florida’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI). Improvements included ramp reconstruction, drainage upgrades, pedestrian enhancements, roadway lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), signalization improvements, and a new directional median opening at Goodman Road to improve traffic circulation and safety.
